Installation
The Panasonic Phone System KX-TEA can be connected to standard analogue telephone lines (PSTN). The system has a capacity for up to 3 telephone lines. Please see our telephone line section which explains numbering and multiple calls on the same number. The KX-TEA308 phone system can connect up to 8 telephones (extensions). These extensions can be the Panasonic system telephones eg. KX-T7730 or can be standard analogue telephones (POTS Phones) eg. BT Converse. We wouild recommend at least one system display telephone (KX-T7730 or KX-T7735) which will make it easy for system programming and changes. You can use a PC to program the system, but it is usually easier to use a display phone for quick changes. The extension telephones will need to be cabled from the phone system CCU onto suitable telephone sockets.
