GSM Gateway
A GSM Gateway is a device that connects to a phone system that enables extensions on the phone system to make and reveive calls directly over the GSM Mobile Phone Network. The GSM gateway will connect to the phone system in the same way as a traditional telephone line and use a standard mobile phone SIM card. This means that the GSM Gateway has several different interfaces to cope with the variety of trunk / Line Interfaces on a phone system, eg. analogue GSM Gateways are for connection to analogue trunk ports and ISDN GSM Gateways are for connection to ISDN Trunk Interfaces.
