Call Recording

We are able to offer a selection of telephone call recording options for the Panasonic range of telephone systems.  Call recording can be done at extension or trunk / Line level. 

Extension Recording

If telephone extension recording is required, this is usually done by using a single extension call recorder, which connects to the telephone extension and a PC (via USB) and records all calls made and received by that particular extension and stores it locally on the PC Hard Drive.  There are two types of extension call recorder available, they are:-

Analogue Extension Call Recorder - connects to all analogue extension telephones, including the systems phones for the KX-TEA308 and KX-TES824 analogue phone systems, analogue telephone decives such as audio conferencing phones and also work with IP Phones.  Analogue Extension Call recorders usually connect in-line between the phone and the handset curly cord and record all calls to a PC using a USB interface and the software provided.

Digital Extension Recorders - connect to the Panasonic Digital System Phones for the KX-TDA and KX-TDE Phone Systems, including the KX-T7668, KX-T7630, KX-T7633 and the KX-T7636.  Digital Call Recorders are usually connected between the line cord and the extension socket and record all calls to the PC Hard Disk Drive using a USB connection and software provided.

Multiple extension call recorders are available where a larger number of extensions require call recording.

Trunk Line Recording

The alternative to extension call recording is to connect the call recording device to the telephone lines, so that all inbound and outbound telephone calls are recorded.  This type of equipment can connect to analogue, ISDN2e, ISDN30e and VoIP Trunk interfaces and usually connects to a PC to provide the storage of the calls on the PC Hard Disk Drive.  This type of call recording is preferable when all calls need to be recorded.
