Panasonic are a market leading manufacturer of business telephone systems.
The Panasonic phone system range starts with the KX-TEA308 and KX-TES824 Analogue Phone Systems providing connectivity for standard PSTN analogue telephone lines and these systems can be purchased off the shelf for self installation by a competent user, but we also offer an installation and maintenance service.
The next phone system in the range is the Panasonic KX-NCP Telephone System which is available in two versions. The NCP500 and NCP1000 offer the same functionality but the NCP1000 is a larger chassis to enable the insertion of more expansion cards. Both the KXNCP500 and KXNCP1000 phone systems work with traditional PSTN and ISDN telephone lines as well as the latest VoIP Telephone Lines (SIP Trunks). The KX-NCP Phone Systems provide connectivity for analogue and digital extension phones as well as offer the ability to connect IP Phones in the form of the proprietary Panasonic KX-NT range of phones and standard SIP phones from other manufacturers (snom, Yealink, Aastra etc).
The newest system in the range, launched in January 2012, the Panasonic NS1000 phone system is the next generation of communications platforms and moves towards a wholly VoIP platform, offering connectivity to either KX-NT or KX-UT IP Phones and other SIP Phones with the main provision for IP Trunks with optional cards for analogue, ISDN2e or ISDN30e for users with legacy telephone lines that they want to use as a back up to their SIP Trunking service.
Panasonic Phone Systems Overview
Panasonic KXTEA308 and KXTES824 Analogue Telephone Systems

The Panasonic KX-TEA308 and KX-TES824 are entry level small business phone systems for use with standard analogue telephone lines. They both offer the same features, but the two different models cater different numbers of lines and extension telephones. The Panasonic KX-TEA308 system can connect to a maximum of three analogue (PSTN) telephones and up to eight extension telephones which can be either standard analogue telephones (POTS Phones) or the proprietary system phones such as the KX-T7735, KX-T7730, KX-T7720 and KX-T7750 which have the traditional line keys showing which phone lines are in use and easy access to other system functions through dedicated feature keys. The Panasonic KX-TEA824 system provides a maximum capacity for eight analogue telephone lines and up to twenty four extension phones, sixteeen of which can be the proprietary system phones and the final eight being standard analogue telephones. The KXTES824 system is initially configured with three lines and eight extensions (3+8) with expansion cards to bring the system up to it’s full capacity. These analogue systems have an optional voicemail card, but most users will just connect an analogue answering machine to a spare extension to deal with the out of hours message.
Panasonic KX-NCP Phone System

The Panasonic KX-NCP system is available as the KXNCP500 and KXNCP1000 with the NCP1000 being a larger chassis to hold more expansion cards. Both the NCP500 and NCP1000 include voicemail and auto attendant but do not include any line or extension capacity out of the box leaving the customer to choose whether they want to connect analogue, ISDN2e, ISDN30e or VoIP Telephone Lines (SIP Trunks) and whether to have analogue, digital or VoIP extensions, or in fact a mix of everything.
